LovelyStay is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage and oversee the company’s financial transactions, ensuring timely processing of payments and accurate record-keeping of receivables.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoicing & Customer Relations
- Support all invoicing processes for property owners and guests (mainland Portugal), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate processes and ensure alignment of best practices between regions (mainland and Madeira).
- Prepare and deliver regular reports to property owners, including financial statements and revenue breakdowns.
- Oversee city tax submissions and payments, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and deadlines.
- Act as the key point of contact for escalated inquiries from owners and guests regarding invoicing, reports, and payments.
- Work closely with the operations team to monitor and follow up on customer receivables, ensuring accurate tracking and timely collections.
Cash Flow
- Cash flow tracking, reporting, and analysis.
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date cash flow forecasts across management companies and entities.
- Identify risks and opportunities in cash management, offering actionable recommendations to the CFO and management team.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with exposure to both invoicing and payables.
- Strong understanding of cash flow management and financial operations.
- Excellent Excel skills; experience with PHC, InvoiceXpress, or similar financial systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Customer service focused - communicate professionally, handle inquiries with care, and aim to provide the best experience for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent in Portuguese; good English skills required.
- Experience in the hospitality, short-stay rental, or property management sector is an advantage.
