Job Description
As a Trainee OT Application Security Consultant IGP you will play a key role in enabling secure applications in the Operational Technology (OT) and manufacturing environment by consulting internal stakeholders—including developers, architects, and application owners—on implementing effective and appropriate security measures. Your work will directly contribute to reducing cyber risks, ensuring that Infineon’s high-performance manufacturing systems remain secure, resilient, and aligned with industry standards. You will work in different departments in order to be prepared for your future target position – including IT as well as Cyber Security organizations.
Your program consists of the following elements:
- Consult internal stakeholders on security best practices by providing guidance to developers, architects, and other stakeholders regarding the adoption and implementation of appropriate security measures in OT applications
- At least one international assignment
- Develop and maintain implementation guides for embedding security requirements in OT applications, offering technical and strategic advice to balance security needs with operational constraints
- Provide hands-on support and guidance to prioritize and execute security measures in both new and legacy applications
- Contribute to the Development and Improvement of Consulting Services by collaborating with the Service Architect for OT Application Consulting to refine and enhance the consulting service offering to create real value for stakeholders
- Help improve the methods, tools, and frameworks used to provide OT application security consulting, ensuring standardization and consistency
- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing while engaging with developers, architects, and other stakeholders in order to align security practices across teams and applications Share knowledge on security best practices, lessons learned, and emerging threats to foster a culture of security awareness and collaboration

Plus, you fulfill the following qualifications:
- You have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Security, or a related field
- Already have gained the first experience or are highly motivated to start deep-diving into the Cybersecurity or IT Security or OT Security
- Have a foundational understanding of application security concepts, or eager to learn, IT/OT security architectures like the Purdue Model and IEC 62443
- You have an interest in topics like Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) and are eager to explore how these concepts can be applied in real-world scenarios.
- A genuine interest in manufacturing—and in the applications and systems that enable and control modern manufacturing environments—is considered a strong advantage
- You are a good team player who is highly motivated and structured with a high degree of self-initiative
- You thrive in an agile working environment, effortlessly adapting and collaborating with others to achieve shared goals
- And, of course, you speak and write fluent English
- I aman ambitious and open-minded person who loves to get to know new people and learn about new topics
- When I think about moving to another country for at least three months, I want to start packing my bags
- I like to work in teams that are very diverse and in which everyone speaks English
