Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and integrate one of our largest international partners in the telecommunications sector. This is a high-impact role within a global organisation known for its technological innovation and digital transformation initiatives. You will be part of a highly skilled data team, contributing to the development of scalable cloud-based data solutions.
What you will do:
- Design, develop and optimise data pipelines and cloud-based solutions;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making across the organisation;
- Implement and maintain Big Data tools and frameworks such as Spark, Flink, Kafka and Hadoop;
- Work with ETL and data integration tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, Talend);
- Ensure data quality, reliability and performance in large-scale environments.
What you are like:
- Proficient in designing and building data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform;
- Experienced with Big Data technologies including Spark, Flink, Kafka and Hadoop;
- Skilled in ETL and data integration tools such as Apache Kafka and Talend;
- Comfortable working in multicultural and international teams;
- Strong communicator in English;
- Passionate about learning and stepping out of your comfort zone.
