Role:
The "Iberia" Cloud Engineering Manager should be the face of the technical team towards our customers and the key actor in gathering requirements and iterate on delivery to make a profound and long-lasting IT impact through Cloud-driven transformation. Our Cloud Adoption work involves a complex delivery of different disciplines that comes together seamlessly, and this position is the architect behind this delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to the project team.
  • Coordinate tasks, distribute work efficiently, and foster a productive team environment.
  • Consult our customers in all aspects of enterprise Azure usage.
  • Ensure that critical technical decisions are taken in a timely manner throughout the delivery process.
  • Communicate with each stakeholder (customer team and internal team) and gather all the relevant requirements for an A-grade delivery.
  • Be the face of the Cloud Adoption technical team towards the customer and deliver on the expectations.
  • Advocate for quality standards and best practices to improve the delivery quality.
  • Provide insights into the feasibility and complexity of various technical tasks and contribute to more accurate planning.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation within the technical team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing multi-functional teams of engineers.
  • Strong technical background in one of the many facets of Azure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to summarize complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Great attention to detail; nothing goes by you.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality and very detailed work.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and summarize project progress.
  • Comfortable with taking ownership of projects and driving them to completion.
  • Humble and willing to learn from others in a collaborative team environment.
  • Fluent in English.

Important information:

  • Candidates must reside in Portugal.
  • Hybrid work model: Aveiro (3 to 4 days required in the office).
