Join the yellow team as our new Senior Security Engineer!
Responsibilities:
- Act as the senior engineer in identifying, prioritizing, and remediating security issues using tools like Prisma Cloud and Snyk;
- Work closely with Security, Software Engineering, and DevOps teams to implement secure coding practices, remediate vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, and enhance overall security posture;
- Proactively monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents to ensure timely mitigation;
- Perform threat analysis, incident response, and vulnerability assessments, proposing and implementing effective security improvements;
- Promote DevSecOps adoption by embedding security controls and automated checks into existing CI/CD pipelines;
- Lead vulnerability management efforts, partnering with technical teams to drive adoption of security best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field;
- 5+ years of experience in IT Security, preferably within software development or software house environments;
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools such as Prisma Cloud and Wiz;
- Expertise in Application Security tools and practices, particularly Snyk (SCA, SAST, DAST);
- In-depth understanding of secure SDLC, DevSecOps, and security integration in CI/CD pipelines;
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), including IAM and container security;
- Technical knowledge in vulnerability management, threat modeling, and risk assessment;
- Experience with web security hardening and misconfiguration
- Scripting/automation skills using Python, PowerShell, or similar for security automation.

- Must be living in Portugal.
- Hybrid work model in Almada.
