ASPORTO is being established as a dedicated and strategic Service Center for the capital management company. It is designed to serve as a key operational hub, delivering high-quality fund accounting and management company services while setting new benchmarks in scalability, process efficiency, and service excellence.
This role is with ASPORTO and offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the development and long-term success of the Porto platform.
We are seeking Senior Specialist to join our Middle Office Services team in our Porto office.
Your Responsibilities:
- Expertise & Oversight: Serve as the primary point of expertise for complex invoice management topics, supporting and overseeing daily processing across all invoice types. Develop into the key expert for the dedicated invoice processing team.
- Reconciliation & Compliance: Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, ensuring all activities comply with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge Transfer & Training: Mentor junior colleagues, sharing your expertise to strengthen the team’s capabilities and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Client Service & Process Excellence: Deliver outstanding client service within the standard operating model, while actively identifying and implementing process improvements to create capacity and drive efficiency.
- Process Improvement & Automation: Lead and support initiatives to standardize and automate processes across the Service Center, enhancing operational effectiveness.
- Project Support: Contribute to or lead projects related to new product launches, system migrations, and regulatory changes, collaborating closely with the HQ team.
- Communication: Oversee and steer both internal and external communications, ensuring queries are managed professionally and efficiently.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Hands-on expertise and a collaborative approach, with outstanding teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of managing complex cases independently.
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of topics, and deliver solutions under time pressure.
