Endpoint Management Engineer

Summary of the Role

Amadeus Airport Cloud Use Service (ACUS) is a next-generation Microsoft Azure-based platform that virtualizes airline and airport applications, enabling on-demand access to passenger processing systems anywhere, anytime.

As part of the ACUS team in Lisbon, you will support and manage Windows-based workstations for airports and airlines worldwide. Your main focus will be ensuring secure, reliable deployments and collaborating with technical teams to enhance remote management and automation. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful, international projects that shape the travel experience for our customers.

You will play a key part in driving the evolution of ACUS by designing and supporting innovative solutions within a dynamic, global environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test automation scripts and software packages for workstation management and integration into the product eco system.

  • Deploy, validate, and document operating system updates and software changes.

  • Oversee the rollout of new solutions and maintain clear technical documentation.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to plan and execute global workstation changes and maintenance.

  • Implement and enforce security policies, collaborating on regular security reviews.

  • Troubleshoot technical incidents and prepare deployment and incident reports.

  • Research and introduce process improvements through automation.

  • Collaborate closely with product, security, and support teams.

About the Ideal Candidate

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Strong PowerShell skills (mandatory) for automation, diagnostics, and system integration

  • Deep Windows OS expertise , including imaging and re‑imaging, OS internals (CPU scheduling, memory management, processes, registry), and advanced administration

  • Solid experience with Windows security , including GPO management and OS hardening

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows networking and systems , including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, NTP, REST/SOAP, routing, switching, NTFS/SMB, and peripheral interfaces (USB, serial COM, printing)

  • Experience diagnosing complex, distributed workstation issues in enterprise environments

  • Familiarity with automation tools, endpoint management, and OS deployment solutions

  • Exposure to cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS) is a plus

  • Strong documentation skills, team-oriented mindset, and ability to work in international environments

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
