ABOUT YONDERLAND

We are convinced that outside is exciting, relaxing, and inspiring. It’s versatile, for some it is a place to relax, for others it is the ultimate challenge. A place to enjoy and where big and small moments come together. It’s a place to be discovered or recognized. But the outdoors can also be treacherous and unpredictable. Weather and terrain can surprise you. Our mission is to enable all people to spend inspiring and epic moments outside.

Yonderland is a European group of premium brands and retail concepts focused on outdoors. Including A.S. Adventure, Juttu, Bever, Cotswold, Snow+Rock, Runnersneed and Ayacucho. Yonderland runs over 190 shops in Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Great-Britain and The Netherlands and resides in Belgium.

We operate with a central IT and digital organization that supports multiple business units across countries. This setup creates both scale and complexity — and offers a unique opportunity to drive cross‑market learnings, shared capabilities and meaningful customer impact. To support our ambition to further mature data‑driven decision‑making and customer experience, we are building an in‑house CRO & experimentation capability that will progressively scale across brands and markets.

ABOUT THE JOB OPENING

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A CRO & EXPERIMENTATION ANALYST TO JOIN OUR TEAM

You will play a key role in shaping, driving and maturing this program. You are not just running experiments — you take ownership of the full experimentation cycle and help define how experimentation is done at Yonderland. You operate with a high degree of autonomy and are expected to challenge assumptions, prioritization and “best practices” when data suggests otherwise. You will be part of a small, growing team and work closely with UX, development and business stakeholders across multiple markets. As the capability matures, this role offers a clear path towards increased ownership, mentoring responsibilities and a future lead role within the CRO & experimentation domain.

YOU WILL

Own and drive experimentation

  • Own the end‑to‑end experimentation cycle: from opportunity identification and hypothesis creation to test execution, analysis and scaling learnings.
  • Analyse web analytics and user behaviour using both quantitative and qualitative methods to uncover actionable insights.
  • Translate insights into clear, prioritised experimentation opportunities with measurable business impact.
  • Drive a consistent experimentation cadence with a strong focus on learning and move to production velocity, decision clarity and real‑world impact.
  • Ensure experiments lead to clear outcomes: scale, iterate or stop — not just results.

Shape the CRO & experimentation program

  • Actively contribute to defining and evolving the CRO & experimentation roadmap.
  • Help establish best practices around hypothesis quality, statistical rigor, documentation of learnings and experiment governance.
  • Define and apply experimentation guardrails (KPIs, resource allocation, validity thresholds) appropriate to different business contexts.
  • Ensure that insights and learnings are clearly documented, communicated and reusable across brands and markets.
  • Contribute to defining what “success” looks like for the experimentation program itself (adoption, impact, scalability).

Analyse, interpret and influence

  • Analyse A/B and multivariate tests, heatmaps, user recordings, surveys and other research inputs.
  • Monitor and interpret test results with a strong focus on data quality, statistical validity and business relevance.
  • Turn complex data into clear stories, recommendations and decision-ready insights for stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
  • Enable stakeholders to make confident product and commercial decisions based on experimentation outcomes

Collaborate and lead by influence

  • Work closely with UX designers and developers to ensure experiments are implemented correctly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with local and group‑level business stakeholders to align CRO initiatives with broader commercial and strategic goals.
  • Act as a thought partner and sparring partner, challenging assumptions and driving better decision‑making through data.
  • Be comfortable pushing back when needed — in service of better customer outcomes and business decisions.

YOU HAVE

  • 4–7 years of hands‑on experience in CRO, experimentation, digital optimization or a closely related field, ideally in an e‑commerce or omni‑channel environment.
  • Strong experience with web analytics and behavioural tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Hotjar, Contentsquare, VWO, Adobe Target or similar.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud is a strong plus.
  • Solid analytical skills, including experiment analysis, interpretation of results and reporting. You are comfortable with core statistical concepts and know when to balance rigor with pragmatism.
  • Good understanding of UX/UI principles and how design decisions impact user behaviour and conversion.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, sufficient to collaborate effectively with developers and challenge implementations when needed.
  • Strong communication skills: you can clearly explain insights, recommendations and trade‑offs to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • You are comfortable working in an evolving environment where processes are still being shaped.
  • You have a proactive mindset and a strong drive to continuously improve — not just individual experiments, but the way experimentation is done.
  • You have clear ambitions to grow taking more ownership, mentoring others and evolving towards a lead or management role over time.

Why this role?

  • You will help build and shape an in‑house CRO & experimentation capability from the ground up.
  • You will work across multiple strong retail brands and international markets, creating impact at scale.
  • You will have real ownership, visibility and influence — not just execution.
  • You will grow with the program, with a clear path towards a future CRO / Experimentation Lead role.

What success looks like in the first 12–18 months …

  • A clear, structured CRO & experimentation approach is in place and actively used across business units and brands, with shared principles for hypothesis quality, prioritisation, validity and decision‑making.
  • A steady experimentation cadence is established, with experiments consistently translating into clear outcomes (scale, iterate or stop) rather than inconclusive results.
  • Stakeholders across UX, development and business teams trust and actively rely on experimentation to inform product, customer experience and commercial decisions.
  • Experimentation learnings are well‑documented, reusable and shared, enabling cross‑market insights and avoiding repeated mistakes or duplicated efforts.
  • You are recognised as a go‑to expert and thought partner for experimentation and data‑driven decision‑making, confidently challenging assumptions and influencing priorities.
  • The CRO & experimentation program demonstrates tangible impact — not only through wins, but through better decision quality, faster learning and increased organisational confidence in data.
  • You have taken on broader ownership, mentoring others and helping shape the future direction of the CRO & experimentation capability, positioning yourself for a future lead role.

WE HAVE

  • An office at Lionesa Business Hub
  • Full-time job + without term contract
  • Health insurance
  • 26 days of vacations
  • Flexible work schedule and hybrid work model - 3 days at the office & 2 days remote
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Trainings
  • Collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Team events like summer parties, Christmas events and much more!
