Your key responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- Perform risk assessments, support audit processes and monitor compliance with internal controls and legal regulations
- Draft and review security documentation and procedures in line with Portuguese data protection laws (LOPD) and international standards (ISO 27001/27002)
- Conduct internal audits, analyze gaps, and propose corrective actions
- Monitor and report on security incidents, fraud risks and mitigation strategies
- Ensure that security measures are adapted as systems or regulatory conditions change
- Promote awareness of information security across departments and guide adherence to best practices
- High school diploma or technical degree (vocational or university background in law, IT or cybersecurity preferred)
- Training in data protection and information security (LOPD knowledge is a must)
- Knowledge of ISO 27001/27002 standards
- Experience in data protection audits, fraud detection or information system compliance
- Solid computer skills: Windows OS, Excel, databases, email systems (intermediate to advanced level)
- Intermediate English skills (written and oral)
- Strong communication, analytical thinking and planning abilities
