YOUR IMPACT
You will be a strong individual contributor to a development team building a high-quality software product. These products are leveraging firm IP to deliver impact to our clients, either during client study or to sustain good practices developed during the engagement.
You'll be building enterprise-grade B2B software products and platforms for the use of our clients. As part of a development team, you’ll be expected to take the lead in specific technical development components and influence the product design and technical architectures based on your experience. You will use your skills to deliver mature, well-tested software that meets high standards for maintainable, adaptable, scalable and secure software.
You will be an active learner, identifying new cutting-edge libraries, techniques and approaches to solve complex problems, and you'll have the opportunity to use unfamiliar technologies and learn new programming languages to meet technical requirements. You will leverage your strong understanding of key agile engineering practices to model ideal participation within agile teams and contribute to growing and improving our engineering practices.
You will also contribute code and participate in code reviews, facilitate breaking down user stories into technical tasks, and help manage the process by which code is delivered and its quality. At times, you will need to provide advanced debugging and support for production/live software deployments. Furthermore, you'll communicate technical and delivery risks to the team and escalate to management when appropriate.
You'll work with the Ops Tech Enablement team in the biggest functional practice in the firm, focusing on client operations (e.g., supply chain, procurement, product development) improvement and will be in our Lisbon or Wroclaw office.

Ops Tech Enablement team supports a portfolio of 12 successful assets leveraging benchmarking capabilities, machine learning and data visualization to provide insights on client situations and performance. You will join our community mixing people with business and technical background.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering
- Experience with building B2B and enterprise quality products, enabling business capability and objectives through technology
- Hands-on skills working with relational (SQL) and No-SQL databases; Postgres and MongoDb/CosmosDb experience is a bonus
- Strong software engineering skills and proficiency in object-oriented programming, functional programming and associated software design patterns.
- Experience in Python development is required.
- Deep experience and proficiency in at least one of the following: C# (.net), Python, and JavaScript/Typescript. Familiarity and hands-on experience in a second from that list is required.
- Experience in implementing cloud-native software solutions on AWS, Azure and/or GCP with hands-on experience debugging complex distributed systems using cloud-native observability tooling, experience with cloud-native architecture design a plus
- Experience in developing software utilizing containers (e.g., Docker / Kubernetes) is preferable. Experience with serverless (e.g., Lambda, Azure Functions) is a bonus but not required.
- Experience in engineering practices such as code refactoring, test driven development, design driven development, continuous integration, building highly scalable applications, application security, and building maintainable code
- Recent experience building software solutions which integrate with GenAI resources, LLMs, or Agentic flows. Experience in prompt engineering for software development use cases. Experience in implementing GenAI capabilities with cloud-native software using modern frameworks (e.g., langchain, lammaindex) a plus
- Knowledge of Agile software development process
- Familiarity with testing frameworks across either C#, Python and or JavaScript; and with continuous integration tools and approaches.
